Success Communications, Inc. began in 2006 when Kelly R. Rasmussen realized that her passion is giving back to the 9-1-1 industry. Kelly began her dispatch career in 1986 with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department in Michigan. From the very beginning, her goal was to become a 9-1-1 Director so that she could effect real change, make the lives of dispatchers better and to recognize this awesome profession for the valuable part of the public-safety team that it is.
When Kelly reached her goal of becoming a 9-1-1 Director, she realized that she could make policy changes, equipment changes and help influence positive legislative changes. What she missed was the direct interaction with the dispatchers. And so…Success Communications, Inc. was born!
Michelle Rasmussen, having a Masters Degree in Business Administration, joined forces with Kelly to create the company. Since those humble beginnings, the company has grown to what you see on this website today.
